1.I know that the night men are crazy people who like to torture people for the fun of it.They tarred and feathered a guy with the blackest tar they could find.I think that the influence of other people seem to have an impact on some others.I also think that
they think they are better than others.So they think they can go around torturing others because they are rulers of the world.
2.Cassie and her brothers set a trap for the bus so that it would crash and not be able to be used for a while. They did it because the bus driver liked to entertain his passengers by making the black students,who had to walk, all dirty with dust.Yes, I do think the children had a good reason for setting the trap. All they wanted was to get to school without getting all dirty from the bus. I think they wanted to teach the bus driver and all its passengers a lesson by making them walk or drive in their own car to school.
I think that the riders do what they do to keep the blacks in line so they feel superior to them. I think they burnt the people cause they were out of line.

Little Man got splashed by the bus and was realey mad so Stacey told him that they would get back at them for it so instead of eating lunch they dug a big ditch.
I think there action was justified because the white people were so mean to them, but it was not totaly justified because they could of hurt or killed someone.
All I know about the Night Men is that they are very very very bad men and they do very bad things to African Americans because they think they are superior to them (like the Ku Klux Klan) They think they are superior to African Americans because slavery had just ended and they still had not grasped the concept that African Americans are their equals. The bus driver liked to entertain his White students by driving close to the side of the road and splashing mud or dust on the Black children, who do not have a bus. Little Man was tired of getting dirty so Stacey devised a plan, and they spent their whole lunch hour digging a trench across the road and filling it with mud. At the end of the school day when the bus came close to the mud puddle and sped up they hid to watch. The bus got stuck in the mud puddle and the students would have to walk for a couple weeks after because it would take that long for the bus to be fixed. Their actions were not justified because they could have hurt some one and they did not follow the golden rule: treat others the way you want to be treated. No one should be hurt in the name of justice or else it is not justice.
I think the night men are racist people who hate black people. I think that they are some of the meanest people in the world. They tarred and feathered somebody because he called someone a liar.
I think that they made the hole bacause when the bus came by the water would always splash on them. I don't think think they should have done it.

I think that the night men are crazy like mms said because, they just dicriminate african americans because they are different and as we discussed in literature circles they probably get drunk and crazy and do horrible things they shouldnt do just because they are white and the victims or people getting discriminated are african americans.
I think that they didnt do good in the trap planning thing but they also didnt have to hurt anyone but they still had to ake the driver and some passengers learn a lesson that they make the african americans walk all day to school and ect. So yeah I think that would've tought them a good lesson.They did have a good reason for the trap and that was like I explained they had to teach them a lesson and feel how they feel about walking to school and other places and the whites got to ride.
I think the article was good because it tought you a good lesson but I dont think that what Abercrombie is doing is fair because some people need jobs and they might not be as skinny and pretty as everybody else but atleast they are doing t for the right reasons earning money and helping their family and feeding themselves but what the other people might only be hired because they are pretty and skinny but they might be doing it just cause they like the store or the clothes or they are just trying to be cool so they apply and they are pretty enough and skinny enough so they get the job and other people who do it for the good reasons not caring wht they look like might apply and either be rejected or have to work in the stockroom or night shift so thats not fair.

the night men sound really scary, they drink, then they get really mad, they end up killing people ('black' people). they tarred and feathered a guy and they also burned a guy, that scared me a lot!!!! Cassie and her brothers dig the hole in the road as a trap, I thought it was pretty cool! it was awsome that they took some action!! But, it was really risky too!! I guess they did the right thing!
Hey everyone! Ok, everyone that was in drama club rocked the house friday and saturday with the play!!!! Ya I'm a bit late with my blog but, better late than never right? Well anyway I will get to the ?'s.
1. I know that the night men are white people who like to kill or torture black people to make fun of them! I think they do this because they baliave that black people don't balong on the planet and they should kill them. I think another reason is that maybe some of them drank a little to much, I don't really know why anyone would do that!
2. Ok, well the bus driver kept chasing them in the bus and the kids were VERY mean calling Cassie and her friends names like that! Then Stacy got them to dig holes for the bus to get stuck in, I thought that was awsome! I do think that was right of them to do that to the bus and kids because the white kids treat them so much more horible that this doesn't even make up for half of what the white kids do to them! I think that this was right for them to do it. I don't know if it was right in a justice way though.
